Eligibility Criteria 

  • Candidates who have qualified for the Master’s degree from any academic institution recognized by UGC (with not less than 55% of marks, or a CGPA of 5.5 and above in the 10 point scale) are eligible to register for PhD at MUJ.
  • In case of candidates holding a qualifying degree from foreign universities/ institution, registration for PhD at MUJ will be confirmed after determination of equivalence by the Directorate of Research (DoR) .
  • A candidate would be allowed to register for PhD in a department relevant to his/her field of study, but the degree would be awarded from the Faculty in which he/she has got his/her PG degree.
  • Candidates who have passed M.Phil/UGC-CSIR NET/JRF/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellow are exempted from the entrance examination.

  • Eligible candidates can apply online only through  the official website https://jaipur.manipal.edu/
  • Candidates can submit the Online application with all the attachments as required on or before 20th July 2020.

Selection Process

  • Selection of research scholars shall be based on the performance in both written test and interview to be conducted by the University.
