Eligibility Criteria for IIIT Sri City PhD Admission 2021

  • A good academic record with a Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Master’s degree by Research in Engineering/Technology in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and the allied branches
  • Candidates with a Master’s degree in Sciences/Mathematics with a good academic record and of exceptional merit are eligible for the relevant Engineering disciplines. In such cases, Candidates must have a valid GATE score or UGC-JRF/NET/CSIR-JRF or equivalent qualification in the relevant area tenable for the year of registration.
  • Exceptional Candidates having B.E / B.Tech. or equivalent degree from CFTI with CGPA of 9.0 or above and demonstrated research capability by means of research papers, IPs and similar research outcomes may also be considered.

  • Candidates may submit a detailed application form with supporting documents by speed post to Academic Office PhD Admissions Cell, Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City, Chittoor, 630 Gnan Marg, Sri City 517646 Chittoor District Andhra Pradesh, India
  • The soft copy of the filled-in application with supporting documents may be sent to the email ID: pgadmissions@iiits.in
  • However, non-receipt of hard copy will result in rejection of the application.

Application Fee of Rs.500/- (Demand Draft has drawn in favor of IIIT Sri City Chittoor)

Selection Procedure

a)

Candidates recommended by the Applications Scrutiny Committee will be called to appear for a written test.

b)

The candidates shortlisted based on the written test performance need to appear for a personal interview before the Evaluation Committee.

c)

The merit list for all the candidates in each category (Institute scholarships, industry personnel) is based on the cumulative score in the written test, interview, marks in UG / PG, experience, and publications.
