    Eligibility Criteria for HPU Shimla PhD Admission 2021

    • Candidates for admission to the PhD Programme shall have a Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the correspondence statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade “B’ in the UGC-7 point scale (or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
    • A relaxation of 5% of marks from 55% to 50% or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/Definitely-abled and other categories of candidates.

    • Eligible Candidates can apply online through the official website https://admissions.hpushimla.in/
    • Candidates will have an E-Mail ID, an active mobile number, scanned (photograph and signature) for filling the form.
    • Applicants are required to fill all information required in different sectors like Education and Documents details. Application fee can be paid online through Debit/Credit card, internet banking.
    • Before filling the application form read the instructions carefully and follow them strictly. Visit the University website for online submission of application form.

    Selection Process

    • Selection will be based on the Entrance test.
