Eligibility Criteria for Sharda University PhD Admission 2021

Eligibility criteria for admission to Ph.D. degree in Sharda University is as follows

  1. A candidate must have cleared post-graduate (PG) degree or equivalent of minimum duration of 2 years from a UGC recognized Indian / foreign university in respective discipline with score of minimum 55% or equivalent CGPA.
  1. A 5% relaxation in score for SC/ST/OBC i.e minimum of 50% in PG degree or equivalent CGPA is allowed.
  1. Online Entrance Examination of Sharda University followed by an interview.
  1. Candidates with valid selection from NET / GATE / SET / UET / any other equivalent test conducted by GOI accredited agency (to be decided by the selection committee) are exempted from entrance test but have to appear in interview. M.Phil. degree holders from UGC accredited universities are also exempted from entrance tests.

  1. Sharda University PhD Admission application form is available in the official website www.sharda.ac.in
  1. the fees within the stipulated time.
  1. The students shall be provisionally registered for Full Time and Part Time PhD Program at the initial stage and the date of provisional registration will be from the date of confirmation of admission.
  1. Applications are invited on prescribed application form only which can be filled online/collecting hard copy from University/downloading application and sending complete form along with the Demand Draft of Rs.1500/- (One Thousand Two Hundred Only) in favour of Sharda University, payable at Greater Noida.

Selection Process

  1. Admissions to various Ph.D. programs (full-time and part-time) in January 2021 of Sharda University will be made strictly according to merit and availability of seats through Entrance Test followed by Interview.
