Eligibility Criteria for University of Calcutta PhD in Psychology Admission 2021

  • Candidates who wish to pursue research work in the Department should apply.
  • The candidates who have already cleared UGC (JRF) examination/NET/SET/SLET /Teacher Fellowship or equivalent examinations or passed the M.Phil in Psychology or equivalent examinations need not appear for the written examination. They can appear directly for the interview but they need to submit their application forms for admission within stipulated date i.e. 28th January 2021

  • Reservation Policy of West Bengal State Higher Educational Institutions – Reservation in Admissions rules, 2013 applicable.

  • Application Form can be downloaded at the official website https://www.caluniv.ac.in/
  • The prescribed application form (obtainable from the Department of Psychology) by paying Rs. 100.00
  • Duly filled application form must reach the office of the Head of the Department within 28th January 2021
  • Candidates should attach self-attested copies of certificates and marksheets of Master’s degree, NET/SET/M Phil (if applicable), age proof certificate, caste certificate (if applicable) etc. along with duly filled application form.
  • They must send the scanned copy of application and all the requisite documents (previously mentioned) and challan through e mail in the id psychologydepartment033@gmail.com within 28th January 2021
  • The candidates who have already applied in March 2020 need not apply again.
