Eligibility Criteria for University of Calcutta PhD in Zoology Admission 2021

  • Passed Master’s degree in zoology or any other qualification considered equivalent thereto.
  • Candidates who have qualified MPhil/NET/GATE in any branch of Life Sciences are exempted from the written examination and will need to appear at the interview only.

  • University of Calcutta PhD in Zoology Admission 2021 Application Process

    • Application Form can be downloaded at the official website https://www.caluniv.ac.in/
    • Filled-in application forms are to be submitted at the office of the Department after payment of Rs. 100/- only at the CU cash counter.
    • Candidates are requested to submit the filled-in application form along with self-attested testimonials to the office of the Department of Zoology, C.U. Kolkata-19.
    • The application form and challan need to be signed by the Head, Department of Zoology.

    Application Fee

    • An application fee of Rs. 100/- is to be submitted online through SBI Collect (https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect)

    Admission Process

    • Admissions will be made on the basis of a written test followed by an interview.
    • Candidates who have qualified MPhil/NET/GATE in any branch of Life Sciences are exempted from the written examination and will need to appear at the interview only.
