    • Date of availability of MPhil & PhD Prospectus & Online Entrance Test Form on the Web: 26th Jul 2021
    • Last Date for Submission of Information on the Web to Generate the Bank Challan: 24th August 2021
    • Last Date for Deposit of Fee in any branch of SBI using Web Generated Challan: 27th August 2021
    • Last Date for Submission of Fee through Online Mode: 27th August 2021
    • Last Date for uploading of photograph, signature with rest of the information on the website: 30th August 2021
      • Final date by which Roll No.: Will be available online
      • Candidates who have not completed their form but have paid their requisite fee, can complete their form by paying late fee of Rs.500/-: 09th September 2021
      • Date of Holding Entrance Test: 12th September 2021 (Sunday)
      • Uploading of Answer Key and inviting Objections: 24th September 2021
      • Last Day of Submission of objections to the Answer Key: 26th September 2021

      Eligibility Criteria for Panjab University MPhil and PhD Admission 2021

      • Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC-7 point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree.
      • A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50% or an equivalent relaxation of grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/BC (non-creamy layer)/ PwD and other categories of candidates.

      For Test in Faculty of Arts, Education, Languages, Sci., Design & Fine Arts, Law & Eng.:

        • Any candidate who has passed the Master’s Exam in the concerned subject with a score of not less than 55% (50% for SC/ST/BC/PwD Category) marks in aggregate, or have appeared in the final year examination of Master’s degree in the subject concerned from PU Chandigarh or from any other University (approved by the appropriate Academic Bodies of P.U.), shall also be eligible

        Application Fee

        • For General Candidates - Rs.2100/-
          • For SC/ST/PwD Candidates - Rs.1050/-
          • Mode of Payment - Online through Debit card/Credit card/Net Banking

          • Selection will be based on Written Test and Interview.
